Here is the top 11 games from E3 reported by N4g.com 100% credit for this post
11. Bulletstorm
Release Date : February 22 2011
Developer : People Can Fly ( Epic Games )
Publisher : EA
Platform : Multiplatform
Bulletstorm is the latest shooter to come out of Epic Games owned studio, People Can Fly. The game takes place on an alien planet where pretty much everything is out to kill you. Bulletstorm puts a lot of emphasis on playing with your enemies and killing them in the most spectacular way possible. This game seems to be about good old fanshioned fun, and certainly doesn't seem to be taking it's self too seriously, although it's coming from Epic, so you know it's going to be good.
10. Forged By Chaos
Release Date : TBC 2011
Developer : Panzar Studios
Publisher : Self Published
Platform : PC
Non-MMO PC exclusives are becoming rarer and rarer these days, but here's one company who still believes the PC is where it's at. Forged By Chaos is a third person fantasy team based game where players can choose one of several races and duke it out across a multitude of senarios and maps. Think Team Fortress 2, but in 3rd person...and with orcs. Harnessing the power of the Crytek 3 Engine to creat superb graphics and animations, Forged By Chaos is definately one to look out for if you're a PC gamer.
9. Ghost Recon Future Soldier
Release Date : TBC 2011
Developer : Ubisoft Paris
Publisher : Ubisoft
Platform : Multiplatform
Ghost Recon was always one of my favourite games on the original xbox, but this generation the series hasn't really taken off, at least compared to games such as Modern Warfare. Hopefully, this will all change when the latest title in this tactical shooter series is launched early next year.
8. Killzone 3
Release Date : February 2011
Developer : Guerrilla Games
Publisher : Sony Computer Entertainment
Platform : PS3
Sony's champion shooter needs no introduction. This time around, you're taking the fight right to the Helghast home world to finish the job once and for all. Stunning graphics, intense combat and an epic story will have you playing Killzone 3 for a long long time. Did I mention it's in 3D?
7. Gears of War 3
Release Date : April 05 2011
Developer : Epic Games
Publisher : Microsoft Games Studios
Platform : Xbox 360
The third and final chapter in this epic Saga aims to be bigger and even more badass than the previous two games. Will the gears finally be able to send the ferocious horde back into the ground where they belong, or will the lambent wipe out both sides themselves? There's only one way to find out. Lock n load next April, you won't be disappointed.
6. Tera
Release Date : Early 2011
Developer : Bluehole Studio
Publisher : En Masse Entertainment
Platform : PC
Calling itself a 'nex-gen MMO', Tera is an extremely ambitious online game, feauting a dynamic combat system where players target there enemies with a crosshair rather than tab locking them. The graphics and animations in Tera are unrivled by any other MMO, even surpasing those of Age of Conan. It will be interesting to see whether Bluehole Studio have what it takes to make a Korean MMO successful worldwide, but either way, it's shaping up to be an amazing experience.
5. Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Release Date : TBC 2011
Developer : Square Enix
Publisher : Square Enix
Platform : PS3, Xbox 360 (Rumoured)
Many fans were left with a bitter taste in their mouth after finally getting their hands on the long awaited Final Fantasy XIII. The game was extremely linear, and it took a long long time before things even became interesting. Versus, on the other hands, is looking to be one of the best Final Fantasy titles yet. A modern setting, huge map, seamless loading and pilotable airship are just a few of the features in this huge game.
4. Diablo III
Release Date : TBC 2011
Developer : Blizzard
Publisher : Activision Blizzard
Platform : PC
Ah Diablo, how we've missed thee. Blizzard are reknowned for their extremely long development cycles, but also for their quality. Diablo III promises to be no exception, with breathtaking graphics, epic new classes and integrated battle.net support. With Starcraft II due out next month and Cataclysm later this year, it seems things are looking bright for this developer.
3. Portal 2
Release Date : TBC 2011
Developer : Valve
Publisher : Valve
Platform : Multiplatform
Apparently the cake isn't a lie, as Portal makes it's triumphant return next year, this time expanding its reach beyond the PC. The graphics have been turned up a notch, the story has improved ( apparently to tie in with the Half Life series ) and the puzzles are even more complex. Although PC gamers aren't too happy about one of their favourite titles going multiplatform straight away, I think it's great that more people will get to experience this enthralling game.
2. Star Wars The Old Republic
Release Date : Spring 2011
Developer : Bioware
Publisher : LucasArts
Platform : PC
Another MMO to watch out for, this one being hailed by many as the WoW killer, if such a thing exists. If one company and one franchise can do it however, it's definately Bioware and Star Wars. The Knights of the Old Republic series is one of the best RPGs in recent years, and I have no reason to think The Old Republic will be any different. It'll definately be interesting to see how Bioware fares with an MMO.
1. The Ledgend of Zelda : Skyward Sword
Release Date : Early 2011
Developer : Nintendo
Publisher : Nintendo
Platform : Wii
Our number one game we're looking forward to in 2011. Did you really not see this coming? Of course it's the latest in the Ledgend of Zelda series. Why? Simple, it's Zelda! Skyward Sword seems to combining the cel shaded style of The Wind Waker and the realistic graphics of Twilight Princess. The story also appears to have improved over past Zelda games, as it's been announced we'll find out how the Master Sword came into existence. One thing is for sure though, we cannot wait to play this game!
