“The Daily” is the first iPad app written to revolutionize news. What The Daily wants to do is make the news viewing experience better, and rule out the almost obsolete News Papers. In this app you can go through pages (about 100, and updated daily) with HD video, 360 degree pictures, and Twitter Feeds. Questions arising about the app is, why is it only for iPad, 85% of the market does have an iPad over any other tablet devices, but could the Windows Tablet, or the Android tablet come back in the future and overpower the iPad, if so, the Daily could not make it. The idea is revolutionary, and if it catches up this “new newspaper” could be what we have in front of us every day as we drink our coffees in the morning, but if it does not take off, News Corp. will have some ‘splaining to do. The application was announced at 11EST today and charging 39.99 a year for a subscription.

| Welcome to an exclusive review of the Windows Phone 7 Device from BSN. Today we are using the Samsung Focus.
First of all the lock screen:
This is great; at the bottom, you can see your next appointment, the time the day the date and text messages and emails. You get so much information on the lock screen you may not even have to unlock your phone. There is also a button on the side you can hold for 3 seconds that activates the camera from the lock screen. Cool feature, but what if you bump it while it’s in your pocket? The light sensor senses it’s in your pocket and doesn’t let you.
The home screen
The home screen is amazing. Live tiles make it fun and updated. The me live tile shows your profile picture and your latest status on Facebook or Live. It will also display a picture you just uploaded. The people live tile updates peoples profile pictures. The Outlook live tile displays how many unread emails you have, and the messaging (for SMS) winks when you have unread messages and displays all unread messages like outlook. The Zune Live tile displays the music you listened to last, for example, you can see I just listened to Linkin park because in the Zune tile it shows the band. The last really cool live tile is Xbox live. This tile lets you see your avatar, not very informative, but really cool.
Personally the first day I got the phone everybody wanted to touch it. The Super Amolid display on the focus is to thank for that, but overall a great phone.

If you haven’t seen already Apples iPad is coming to Verizon. This is confirmed on the home page of Verizon's website, where it says "Unleash the iPad on October 28th." Still nothing on Apples side (website wise) about this, but it’s a go! Next to plate with Apple and Verizon is the iPhone. | 10/15/2010 2:12 PM | | | Brandon Bernicky | | I am the guy who informs the public of news. |

You know those lucky people (me being one of them) that have the unlimited data on Verizon? And how its "Grandfathered" in with my account, well Verizon is getting rid of that in the next 4 to 6 months. Sucks right? It gets worse, why are they doing this? Anticipation for the iPhone, because like they said they "have to earn it". Get your signs, and let’s go to our Verizon stores and riot!

This is a BSN in depth review on Internet Explorer 9, this browser is amazing, even as a browser in its first stage of BETA. The browser uses your GPU instead of your CPU which totally speeds your browsing experience up! This browser is lite like Chrome and has the visual elements of Firefox. The BETA currently doesn’t have a button for quick access to RSS feeds and Web Slices yet, but we will wait to about the third beta before we judge that. This browser right now is the single fastest browser, like it or not, this is the only browser that takes advantage of your GPU, something that will come standard in the next Chrome and Firefox if they want to compete. Kudos IE for finally setting the standard for web browsing again. You can download IE 9 BETA 1 (for 7 and Vista only) here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie-9/home?os=win7&arch=b&browser=ie9 | 9/19/2010 11:07 AM | | | Brandon Bernicky | | I am the guy who informs the public of news. |

You know what that means? iPhone 4 could hit Verizon, and shortly after the release of Windows Phone 7, so will it matter? Will the antenna still suck, yes. Will the Verizon bandwidth be sucked down, yes as well. Two things to consider before dropping everything to get it. Two steps from going to Verizon and Apple looks like they will seal the deal, Verizon may get the iPhone 4 in January but remember Verizon Wireless is notorious for getting something and not releasing it until 3months after getting it. | 8/11/2010 11:20 PM | | | Brandon Bernicky | | I am the guy who informs the public of news. |

Wait one min. California is bankrupt, why are they spending more? Well anyway In San Francisco you may notice
something new if you drive a car and parallel park on the side of the street. The parking meters (powered by SFpark) take change like any other parking meters. Oh and they take credit cards, or debit cards too. If that sounds cool you haven’t heard anything yet, there is also sensors on the streets in the linked parking meters to charge more for parking if the areas busy (aka supply and demand) that means the parking meter could cost you between one quarter an hour to 6 bucks an hour. But that’s not all it does what the sensors, it also tells drivers by Phone, web, or text where they can park in advanced, to help the 1/3 traffic of driving in circles (Man Washington DC needs that). I don’t know about you but I like that better than $3.00 an hour from 9am to 3pm.
